JAMMU, Oct 23: Jammu and Kashmir Roll Ball team began the ongoing Eleventh Junior Roll Ball Championship in style, defeating last year’s runners-up Rajasthan by a margin of 02-01 goals at Chennai.
The goal scorers from Jammu and Kashmir were Rishav Gupta (Captain) and Adishwar Sharma.
Twenty six State teams are participating in this National Championship.
The Jammu and Kashmir team comprises of players including Rishav Gupta, Vivek Singh, Ansh Sudan, Prabal Singh, Bhavnesh Bharadwaj, Ritik Mahajan, Adishwar Sharma, Abhay Veer Singh, Vishvjeet and Manvijay Singh Slathia.
Chandan Sharma and Dhruv Sharma are accompanying the team as a Coach and Manager respectively.
