SRINAGAR, Oct 16: Outplaying their rivals in close contests in the semifinals today, J&K Bank XI and J&K Forest XI qualified for the finals of the CRPF Knockout Football Tournament and will be locking horns against each other in the summit clash at Bakshi Stadium, here tomorrow.
In the first match J&K Bank XI defeated Lone Star Kashmir Football Club via tie-breaker.
After the match ended goalless in the stipulated time, the match was decided in tie-breaker, wherein J&K Bank prevailed over their rivals by four goals to three (4:3).
In the second semifinal, J&K Forest XI defeated Food & Supplies XI by a solitary goal (1:0). Asrar Rehbar scored the winning goal for his team in 46th minute of the match.
