JAMMU, Dec 27: Logging convincing wins over their rivals in the quarterfinals, JK Bank and PDC sealed berth in the semifinals of the ongoing Christmas Soccer Championship, being organized by Christian Sports Organisation J&K at GGM Science College Football Ground, here.
Earlier, in the first quarterfinal, JK Bank defeated Vijay Club by three goals to nil (3-0). The goal scorers for Bank were Prem Kumar, Rohit Kumar and Umar Jaan in 37th, 56th and 67th minute of the match.
In another match, PDC thrashed Churchill Brothers by three goals to nil (3-0). Vishal scored the first goal in 10th minute, Bilal netted the second goal in 20th minute and Demmy pelted the third goal in 65th minute.
The matches were officiated by Vijay Kumar, Hilal, Harneel Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Harmanjeet, Koushal and Rinku Gill.
Air Force will take on J&K Bank Academy, while Jammu United will lock horns with Jammu Sports B in the matches scheduled for tomorrow.
