JK Bank Academy wins Christmas Gold Cup

JAMMU, Dec 20: Jammu and Kashmir Bank Academy emerged winner of 14th Christmas Gold Cup Tournament and lifted the title Cup by defeating Hero Football Club by 1-0 goals, organised by All J&K Christian Welfare Association at GGM Science College Ground, here today.
The match started with both the team playing to their strengths in the attacking front but Gautam Mehra of JK Bank Academy was the only player who succeeded to net single goal at 83 minutes of the games and thus won the match by 1-0 goals.
The winner and runner-up teams were awarded with winning trophy and runner-up trophies and players of both the teams were also awarded with individual mementos.
Yudhvir Sethi, J&K UT BJP vice president was the chief guest of the event, whereas Prabhak Singh, BJP treasurer, Dr Atul Hans Director International Daily Rising School, Corporator Anil Masoon were the guests of honour.
The tournament was organised by Yousaf Don, organising secretary of the tournament with the help of Featus Sotra, David Masih, Amarjeet Singh (Ambi) and Nariender Singh.
