J&K Bank Academy, Shaheen FC register wins

JAMMU, Feb 19: J&K Bank Academy and Shaheen Football Club registered wins over their rivals to advance in the ongoing 1st Maharaja Hari Singh Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organized under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at Science College Football ground, here.
In the first match, Bank Academy defeated J&K SRTC by six goals to five (6-5) via tie-breaker.
In another match, Shaheen FC got the better of Young Rovers by two goals to nil (2-0). Shanaz Iqbal scored one goal, while the other one was a self goal.
The matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Rockey Kumar, Damania, Rahul Sharma, Ramesh Kumar and Mohinder Kalsi (Physio).
