J&K bags 125 medals In 63rd NSG

SRINAGAR, Oct 15: Young sportspersons in various disciplines have brought laurels to the State of Jammu and Kashmir by clinching an impressive number of 125 medals in 2017-18 season.
These medals include 24 Gold, 28 Silver and 73 Bronze Medals in Sqay Martial Arts, Hup-Kwon-do, Kick Boxing, Tennis Cricket, Wushu, Gymnastics, Wood Ball, Korf Ball Ove, Tang-so-Do, Tennis Ball Cricket,  Jeet-Kun-Do,Thang-Tha, Judo, Seven-a-Side Cricket, Belt Wrestling, Kick Boxing, Fencing, Field Archery and Speedball.
Girl student players have equally performed well in these events as 59 out of 125 Medals have been achieved by them in different age group and weight category events.
Secretary Youth Services & Sports Department Sarmad Hafeez lauded the efforts of the Department for this achievement.
