JAMMU, Dec 28: The Ranji Trophy Elite Group C match between host Jammu and Kashmir and Assam ended in a draw at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here today.
Due to bad light and gloomy weather conditions only 21 overs play was possible on the final day today.
Earlier, resuming from an overnight total of 22/0, Assam managed to score 82/2 in 29 overs, before bad light forced the umpires to stop the play and finally draw the stumps.
Opener Rahul Hazarika scored unbeaten 27 runs, while skipper Gokul Sharma made unbeaten 36 runs, studded with 6 delectable boundaries.
Rishav Das (9) and Sib Shankar Roy (2) were sent back to the pavilion by speedster Mohammad Mudhasir, who took two wickers by conceding 40 runs in his 12 overs.
