*IG BSF bags Best Gross winner prize

JAMMU, Jan 5: Jewel Cup Golf Tournament, organised by Border Security Force (BSF) at BSF Golf Course Paloura Camp, concluded, here today.
The tournament was inaugurated by Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar and IG BSF Jammu on January 3, wherein 77 golfers participated in the tournament.
The Best Gross winner prize went to NS Jamwal, IG BSF Jammu, whereas the runner-up prize was bagged by Lt Col Ramesh Chander.
The Net winner prize was clinched by Advisor Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar while runner up prize was secured by VM Singh Commandant BSF, whereas Longest drive prize was clinched by Dr Narinder Singh and Nearest drive went to Pin Col Pavinder.
The Straight drive prize was bagged by KK Khosa, whereas Max par prize was went to Rohit Bhalla and Max birdie was clinched by Danesh Chopra.
Best lady putter winner prize was secured by Pammi Sandhu while joint runner-up award went to Indra Yadav and Sushila Devi and Best female golfer prize was secured by Chandra and Upcoming young golfer master prize secured by Prahanoor Singh.
“Despite inclement weather there was enthusiasm among the golfers to make the event a success,” said organiser of the event. The tournament was sponsored by Sanjay Wahi of Jewel Group Industries, whereas Pro Golfer Raghav also participated in the tournament.
The entire Jewel Group family including Sanjay Wahi, Kuldeep Wahi, Dinesh Wahi, Mamta Wahi, Radhika Wahi and Raghav Wahi attended closing ceremony.
