JAMMU, Apr 4: Jammu Cricket Club (JCC) smashed Abrar Cricket Club (ACC) and registered berth in the final of the ongoing 1st SP Smart T20 Cup Cricket Tournament, being organized by chief organizer Vikas Raina and his team at MA Stadium, here.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, JCC made 165 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Shubam Pundeer was the top scorer with 53 runs, while Surya chipped in 48 runs.
For ACC, Aakash Choudhary scalped 3 wickets, while Ishtiaq Ahmed took 2 wickets and Nitin Mehra claimed one wicket.
In reply, ACC failed to chase the target and were bundled out at paltry 99 runs for all out in 16.3 overs. Nitin Mehra scored 23 runs and Aakash Choudhary made 21 runs.
For JCC side, Deepak Dogra took 3 wickets, while Vivek Singh and Paras clinched 2 wickets each.
The match was officiated by Ashok Singh and Madan as umpires, while Mintu maintained the scorecard.
SBI Grah Tara presented Rs 3000 cash to man of the match awardee Shubam Pundeer.
