JAMMU, Aug 2: J&K Amateur Athletics Association will conduct 1st J&K UT Javelin Throw competitions on August 7 at Jammu University Athletics Stadium.
The competitions will be held every year on August 7 to commemorate the victory of Neeraj Chopra in Javelin by winning the first gold medal in Athletics at Tokyo Olympics on August 7, 2021.
The competitions will be organised in under-16, 18, 20 and open categories for both boys and girls. Athletes are directed to report at the venue at 7 am with an Aadhar Card and DOB certificate on the day of competition.
The last day for submission of entries is 5th August 2022. Athletes are directed to contact Nirmal Singh (7889401211) and Gurcharan Singh (7006341648) for any clarification.
