MENDHAR, Jan 3: Defeating Mughal Club by a narrow margin in the summit clash,  Jatt Warriors lifted the title trophy of the Mendhar Cup T20 Cricket Tournament at OP Hill Stadium, here today.
Winning the toss and batting first, Jatt Warriors scored a modest total of 101 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Waseem Jatt top scored with 23 runs.
In reply, Mughal Club failed to chase the target to help Jatt Warriors lift the title trophy. Abdullah was the top scorer for Mughal Cricket Club.
The Tournament was organized under the overall supervision of the organizing committee including Tariq Hussain Shah, Ajaz Jatt and Arjun Gupta and was sponsored by Bukhari Telecommunication, iqbal Enterprises and Mendhar Youth Club.
Journalist MS Nazki was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams.
