Jandyal Thathi Warriors, Chak Rakwala Leopards, Sidhra Waliabad log wins

BAJALTA, Mar 29: Jandyal Thathi Warriors defeated Sher-e-Kashmir Khanpur Tigers, while Chak Rakwala Leopards beat Shiv Legends Nagrota and Sidhra Waliabad registered a convincing win over Dhanu B Super Heroes in the Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana.
Winning the toss at Bajalta play field in the Nagrota Assembly Constituency, Jandyal Thathi Warriors elected to field first.
Sher-e-Kashmir Khanpur Tigers scored 116 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 14 overs.
Chasing the target, Jandyal Thahi Warriors managed to score 117 runs in 12.1 overs after losing five wickets only. For his 65 runs in 34 balls Ajay  was declared man of the match.
The second match was played between Shiv Legends Nagrota and Chak Rakwala Leopards.
Shiv Legends Nagrota won the toss and decided to bat first and scored only 73 runs losing all the wickets in 13.2 overs.
From Chak Rakwala Leopards Madan, Gaurav, Rahul and Pankaj took two wickets each.
Chak Rakwala Leopards chased the score in 13 overs after losing 6 wickets.
Yudhvir played brilliantly and was declared man of the match for his contribution of 25 runs.
Third match was played between Sidhra Waliabad and Dhanu B Super Heroes.
Dhanu B Super Heroes won the toss and decided to bat first and managed to score 100 runs in 14 overs after losing 7 wickets.
Sidhra Waliabad chased the target in 9.3 overs after losing 5 wickets.
Abhey Bakaya was the top scorer with 38 runs and was declared as man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Madan Mohan and Sadiq Hussain Malik from the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
Sarpanch Bajalta Ch Rehmat Ali, Madan Lal and Zorawar Singh witnessed the matches and cheered the players.
