Jammu United outplays Sainik Colony via tie-breaker

JAMMU, Dec 25: Jammu United defeated Sainik Colony Football Club by five goals to four (5-4) via tie-breaker in the ongoing Christmas Soccer Championship, being organized by Christian Sports Organisation J&K at GGM Science College Football Ground, here.
Earlier, both the teams scored 2 goals each in the stipulated time to take the match to tie-breaker, wherein Rakesh Kumar, Sohan, Nangyal, Saha and Sanjeev succeded in scoring goals for Jammu United, while Gagan, Shahan, Ishan and Dharam scored goals for Sainik Colony Club. Thus, Jammu United registered a win by (5-4) goals.
The matches were officiated by Nazir Ahmed, Harneel, Vijay Kumar and Rinku Gill, while Lal Gill was the chief guest in today’s proceedings.
Young Rovers will take on J&K Bank Academy, while Jammu Sports will lock horns with Jammu United in the matches scheduled for tomorrow.
