JAMMU, Dec 28: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu celebrated Annual Day with a prodigy theme ‘Panchtatav’ which intended to make masses vigilant and alert about the present scenario.
Danesh Rana, IGP, MD, PHC was the chief guest on the occasion.
The chief guest along with guests of honour, Balwant Thankur (Regional Director, ICCR); Major General DS Gill (Chief of staff HQ16 Corps) and special invitee guest Shalendra Mishra, IPS was accorded warm welcome on the occasion.
The programme began with a welcome song followed by the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries.
This entailed the sapling presentation as a token of gratitude; a new tradition initiated in the school for greeting the guests in an eco-friendly way which was further taken to another level by an array of scintillating welcome dance performance.
The tiny tots of primary wing rejuvenated everyone with zest and gaiety.
Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school, Rohini Aima highlighted the success stories and achievements of the school with the vision and mission of the school.
Portraying the prominence of five tatvas, Sanskritians tried to bring into light the stark realities of the world through their action packed performances based on all the five tatvas. Well synchronised performances left the audience in awe.
The first phase prizes were given by Shalendra Mishra, the second and third ones by guests of honour Mr Thakur and Major Gill and the last phase was relinquished by our chief guest Danesh Rana who appreciated the state and national winners and galvanised them to continue to do the same.
