Jammu Sahodayas’ open new session to enrich, empower teaching-learning process

JAMMU, May 15: The CBSE Schools’ Principals’ meet under the banner of Sahodaya School Complex, Jammu Chapter, chaired by Sahodaya President for the term 2019-20, Nirmal Mahna (Principal DPS Rajbagh) and the President of the term 2020-21 Pramod Srivastava (Principal Model Academy) was held in the board room of Radisson Blu, here today.
The first General Body Meeting (GBM) of the session 2019-20 depicting the optimistic and pragmatic outlook with an objective to enrich, empower and enlighten the entire teaching learning process was the highlight of the day.
16 Principals from various reputed CBSE schools took part in the event and contributed in the best possible ways in planning to upgrade and upswing the performance of the students, teachers, administrators and ultimately the school, keeping in view the basic aptitude and the capabilities of the human resources being dealt with.
Speaking on the occasion, SK Singh, General Secretary emphasized the need to work religiously on ground for the betterment of the educational output in terms of teaching, learning and preparing the students for a better future life.
Few new members were welcomed and introduced to the house including Akash Pradhan, (Principal Heritage School, Jammu), Harpreet Kour (Principal Kartar Public School) and Tarun Behl (Principal, British International School, Jammu) along with Shefali Sanwal (Officiating Principal Jodhamal Public School).
On a positive note, a new calendar for various inter CBSE schools competitions was finalized with an open house discussion followed by a short and brainstorming session by the President Sahodaya Nirmal Mahna emphasizing the role of Principal, teachers and the parents in the life of a student who aspires to live a happy and a successful life.
Income and expenditure report was presented by the Treasurer JSSC, Rajesh Rathore (Principal GD Goenka School).
The general body meeting culminated with an optimistic vote of thanks by PRO, JSSC, Dr Vikesh Kaur (Principal Doon International School Jammu) along with a short inspirational talk on positive teamwork.
