JAMMU, Apr 23: Jammu Sahodaya School Complex held its first General Body Meeting, bringing together Principals and representatives of leading CBSE schools across the region.
The meeting was presided over by President Dr Atul Hans and attended by Vice-President Rajeev Sharma, Joint Secretary Sanjeev Pradhan, Secretary Media Manjari Seghal, Secretary Finance K L Dogra, along with mentors and Principals of member schools.
The house reaffirmed its commitment to collaboration, best practices, and strengthening educational standards in alignment with NEP 2020 and CBSE guidelines. The Executive Committee formally unveiled the “Trinity Model of Growth”, aimed at transforming the Jammu Chapter into a Centre of Excellence for Students, Teachers and Principals.
The meeting witnessed insightful presentations by Arindham and Dr Pramod Shrivastav, which enriched the deliberations. The Annual Activity Calendar for 2026-27 was unanimously approved. Important discussions were held on NEP-aligned initiatives, integration of Artificial Intelligence and Computational Thinking, teacher training roadmap, career counselling programmes, and CBSE policy updates including admission norms and curriculum reforms.
The framework focuses on holistic student development through academic exposure, leadership programmes, sports, innovation, career guidance and wellness initiatives. For teachers, capacity building, AI integration, and subject enrichment programmes were emphasized, while leadership training for principals was also outlined.
The meeting welcomed new member schools and decided that four General Body Meetings will be hosted by member institutions. The event concluded with appreciation to Team Physics Wallah, including Ronik (Business Head), Atul (Regional Head) and Yatin for full sponsorship and support.
