JAMMU, Nov 25: Jammu Division lifted the title trophies of the State Level Inter-Division under-17 boys and girls kho-kho Championship, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Youth Hostel Nagrota, here.
Earlier, in Under-17 girls title clash, Jammu division trounced Kashmir Division by one turn and 15 points in an easy contest. For Jammu Division, Shruti scored the maximum 6 points, Dimple scored 5 points and Shivani secured four.
Meanwhile, in Under-17 boys final, Jammu Division rode on superb show by Gourav, Ajay, Vinod and Sunil and scripted a win by 9 points (14-5) to lift the title.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu, Tirath Ram, concener of the event, Jeet Singh and warden Youth Hostel Nagrota, Rajesh Sambyal.
