JAMMU, Dec 5: Two days Jammu District Thang-ta Championship which was held at Orange Pre-School Durga Nagar, near here concluded today.
Around 100 players from different schools participated in the Championship.
Rajan Sharma, Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council was the chief guest on the concluding ceremony, who distributed medals and certificates among the winners, while Rakesh Vaid, Deputy Secretary Culture Department was the guest of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Archana Pushp, Reva Sharma, Vikas Gupta, Gul-e-Surkhab Suraj Sharma and Manish Chatwal.
Boys: Gold Medals : Vivaan Singh Jamwal, Aoyan Khallid, Mahavir Singh Dutta, Anish Bhat, Atish Jamwal, Rishab Alec Pushap, Harionsh Sharma and Ayush Koul.
Silver: Sumanya Sharma, Aditya Dhar, Bridvik Singh, Arrav Pandita, Aron Dhar, Udhay Veer Bhat and Somer P Singh.
Bronze: Satyash P Singh, Bhavin Chatwal, Aman Kalotra, Shiaker Midata, Kartik Warikoo, Advik Bhat, Manthan Koul, Dhruv Raina, Nitish, Humasn Dhat and Sushant Koul.
Girls : Gold Medal : Lavanya Koul, Dhanishta Jamwal, Ikshita Midata and Suhana Koul.
Silver: Kamiya Katoch, Preksha Kow, Ananya Pandita, Diya Dhar and Sonakshi Devi.
Bronze: Hansika Bhagat, Mehak Koul, Sheba Amit Rana, Ridhi Bhagat ,Suhani Kichoo and GunGun Dhar.
The Championship was organized by District Jammu Thang-ta Association and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
