Jammu District Cycling C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Dec 20: Jammu District Cycling Championship 2019-20 concluded today at Forest Protection Force Ground, Sidhra here.
The chief guest on this occasion was Rajeev Sharma Assistant Director Forest Protection Force and the guest of honour was Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu.
The championship was declared open by Rajeev Sharma, Assistant Director Forest Protection Force.
About 50 Cyclists from District took part in the championship in various groups and showed their talent. The championship was held under the supervision by Ravinder Singh President, SS Gill General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association, Om Parakash Associate Secretary, Veteran Cyclists Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association, Ravi Salgotra Treasurer (JKCA),Vikesh Sharma, Gurpreet Singh.
In under-14 section, Tanmay Sharma stood 1st, Hashir 2nd; in under-17, Rajveer Singh 1st, Arnav Mahjan 2nd and Nipun Anand 3rd, in under elite group, Manav 1st, Anish Dubey 2nd, Rohit Panyalia 3rd. The Forest Protection Force and Police Post, Sidhra Play important role in conduct of the Championship.
