JAMMU, Apr 21: Cricket fever has gripped Jammu as the stage is set for the semi-finals of the 1st Jambu Lochan T20 Cricket Tournament, with four teams ready to battle for a place in the final on Wednesday at Maulana Azad Stadium.
In the first semi-final, Apex Cricket Club will take on Rehari Kings XI, while the second semi-final will feature Mulan Cricket Club against Tantray Sports Club. The tournament, organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Masters Games Association, has drawn strong attention from cricket enthusiasts across the region.
Mulan Cricket Club enters the knockout stage in impressive form, winning both their league matches convincingly. In one of their standout performances, they defeated Shine Star Cricket Club by eight wickets after bundling them out for 74 runs in 16 overs. Rahul Mulan and skipper Anchal Singh starred with four wickets each. Akash Chaudhary’s unbeaten 35 guided the chase.
Mulan continued their dominance with a 58-run win over Rehari Kings XI, posting 172/6 with Abishant scoring 48 and Yogesh Sikka remaining unbeaten on 38. Anuj Kumar’s all-round performance earned him the Man of the Match award.
