JAMMU, Sept 13: Jammu Athletes Club (JAC), the organisers of Jammu Half Marathon today announced ambassadors in a curtain raiser ceremony for its 2nd edition to be held on November 10, 2019, here.
Ace veteran athletes Parbhat Singh and Rajesh Padha have been named ambassadors for this event, which is an annual feature of the Club.
Both the veteran athletes gave motivational speeches to encouage young runners.
Good number of athletes took part in the ceremony.
According to the organisers, the athletes desirous to take part in the event can register themselves online at jammuathletesclub.com.
“The offline registration counters will also be opened soon,” added the organisers.
The Core Group of JAC present on the occasion included Gaurav Gupta, Vikram Gupta, Rajinder Gupta, Parbhat Singh, Rajesh Padha, Surinder Choudhary, Sham Suri, Vasu Gupta and Prince Khajuria.
