J&K sails into Pre-QFs; takes on Uttarakhand today

JAMMU, Dec 22: Defeating Daman Diu by a huge margin of 105 runs, Jammu and Kashmir boys made it to the pre-quarterfinals today and will take on Uttarakhand in the last 16 stage at University ground, here tomorrow.
Earlier, J&K scored 139 runs in the stipulated 15 overs. Sarthak Peshin top scored with 41 runs off just 15 balls. Prince took 2 wickets for Daman Diu.
In reply, Daman Diu collapsed at 34 runs in 10.3 overs to lose the match by a big margin. For J&K, Anmol took 4 important wickets by conceding 6 runs in 3 overs.
The other teams which have qualified for the pre-quarterfinals stage included Delhi, Telangana, Maharashtra, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, IPSC, Chhattisgarh, NVS, Rajastah, Haryana, cbse, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal.
Director General Youth Services and Sports, Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, under whose supervision the Championship is being held witnessed the match and appreciated the players for brilliant display.
