SRINAGAR, Sept 16: Three days Inter Zonal District Level Football tournament for boys U-14, U-17, and U-19 concluded here today.
The tournament was organised by DYSS Srinagar at three different venues. The matches for U-14 (boys) were played at BHSS Zadibal, whereas matches for U-17 (boys) were played at Polo Ground Central and the matches for U-19 (boys) were played at Gindun Stadium under the overall supervision of Director General Youth Services and Sports, Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman.
On the closing ceremony, the trophies were awarded to winning teams by Youth Services and Sports Officials of District Srinagar. Total eight matches under each category were played during the Football tournament.
U-14 (boys) category: The final match was played between Zone Batamaloo and Zone Amirakadal in which Zone Batamaloo succeeded to win final trophy.
U-17 (boys): The final match was played between Zone Amirakadal and Zone Batamaloo wherein Zone Amirakadal defeated the opponent in Tie break.
U-19 (boys): The final match was played between Zone Amirakadal and Zone Gulabagh. The Zone Amirakadal declared as winner.
