SAMBA, Mar 26: IRP-17th Bn Samba organized a Girls Volleyball Tournament at Govt. Middle School, Swankha under CIVIC action Programme, here today.
Commandant of the Bn, Roop Raj Bhagat, SSP was the Chief Guest on this occasion and inaugurated the Tournament.
Rajinder Singh Dy. Commandant, Tejinder Kour, Dy. SP and Ajay Anand Dy.SP along with others were also present.
5 Girls’ Teams from different schools namely Govt. Hr. School, Gho Brahmana, Ajanta Hr. Secondary School , Gho Brahmana, Govt. Hr. Secondary School Ramgarh, Govt. Hr. Secondary School Anandpur and Govt. High School Suchani participated.
The final match was played between Govt. Hr. Secondary School Ramgarh and Govt. High School, Suchani, in which Girls team of Govt. High School Suchani emerged winner to lift the title.
Trophies, track suits, shoes, socks, Volleyball Kits and Badminton Kits were provided to winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
