JAMMU, Dec 26: The much awaited first Annual cum sports day based on the theme ‘One World One of International Daily Rising School was held with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere, here.
The program began with the Chairperson Supinder Kaur’s welcome address.
Charanjeet Singh Khalsa, MLC Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Advocate Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor JMC Jammu was the guest of honour. The Sports Meet was declared open with the emancipation of balloons and lighting of the ceremonial Olympic torch by the chief guest.
The torch bearer of Olympic flame was Master Arshpreet Singh, The Head boy of IDRS along with the school appointments. The students displayed various cultural and sports items on the occasion.
The sports items included gunny race, wiggle race, obstacle race, relay race and stumbling block race.
The school Annual Report was presented by the Director Academics, Dr Atul Hans.
The Managing Director of IDRS, Raghav Gupta proposed the vote of thanks.
