POONCH, July 24: The Inter School competition of Zone Poonch in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Chess and Badminton concluded here at Shaheed Manjeet Singh Memorial Boys Higher Secondary School Poonch.
Around 829 young boys in U-17 and U-14 age groups took part in this competition organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports zone Poonch. In Kabaddi, GMS Purani Poonch Won first position while GHS Banwat remained runner up. Kho-Kho GHS Banwat remained winner and Govt High School Purani Poonch got runner up position. In Volleyball, High School Purani Poonch remained overall Champion while Nanak Academy Poonch remained runner up. In Chess, Nanak Academy got first position while Govt High School Purani Poonch got runner up position, and in Badminton Nanak Academy Poonch remained winner and GMS Kasallian Poonch remained runner up in the championship.
