RAMBAN, Apr 22: Ramban Public School (RPS) and Government High School (GHS), Pernote emerged winner and runner-up respectively in the under 17 boys Volleyball event, organised during the Inter-School Tournament by Department of Youth Services and Sports, which concluded at Government Higher Secondary School, here today.
In under 14 volleyball boys, Government Higher Secondary School, Gandhari and Government Middle School, Khater emerged winner and runner-up respectively.
In Kabaddi under 17 boys, Government Higher Secondary School, Ramban and Government High School, Pernote claimed first and second positions respectively, whereas, in girls category, Government High School, Ramban and Government High School, Kanthi emerged winner and runner-up respectively.
In Kabaddi under 14 boys, Government Middle School, Khater and Ramban Public School emerged winner and runner-up respectively, whereas, in girls category Government Middle School Maitra and UPS Phalthi claimed first and second positions respectively.
In under 17 Kho-Kho boys, Government High School, dhandrath and Government Higher Secondary School, Ramban emerged winners, whereas in girls category, Ramban Public School and Government High School, Ramban emerged winner and runner-up respectively.
In under 14 Kho-Kho boys, Ramban Public School and BVMS Ramban emerged winner and runner-up respectively, whereas, in girls category, Government Middle School, Maitra and UPS Phalthi emerged winners.
On the concluding day today, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Ramban was the chief guest, who awarded the winners.
The matches were officiated by Omkar Singh, Kuldeep Kumar, Jagair Singh, Madu Kusum and Dhelar Singh.
The tournament was organised under the overall supervision of Harshi Kesh Koul, ZPEO Ramban and Devan Chand Thakur, District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO).
