JAMMU, Nov 27: 8th Inter-School Taekwando Championship 2013 under the ageis of J&K Taekwando Association and Taekwando Federation of India, organized by Jammu Taekwando Association concluded at Sprawling Buds School, Chinore, Bantalab, here today.
Speaking on the valedictory function, the chief guest R S Chib, former Minister stressed the need to strengthen the educational institutes excelling in the private sector by organizing such extra curricular activities along with formal education. He said this initiative deserves all appreciation as it directly imparts all values for overall development of children and youth.
Mr. Chib also urged that it is a moral prerogative of the institutes to maintain the dignity while serving the society as overnment is also committed to support such institutes with par excellence. The sports activities give the sound physique and sound mind to the children to build a healthy nation.
The guest of honour who graced the valedictory function was Dr. Ashwani Jojra, founder Sahyog India. Manish Joshi, MD Lawrence School, P.C.Sharma, president Taekwando Association J&K, Puja Sharma, Principal of Sprawling Buds School and Rahul Sharma, the Director of the School were the special guests.
