JAMMU, Sept 6: Inter School District Level Roll Ball, Roller Skating, Roller Hockey under AAG (Boys) and Inter District Divisional Level Thai Boxing Under-19 years and Taekwondo under all age group (boys) competitions commenced at MA Stadium, here today.
In all, over 200 participants of various Districts of Jammu Division are taking part in the above said competitions.
The competitions are being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the patronage of Shiekh Fayaz Ahmad, Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K and under the overall supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu. Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu is the Organising Secretary of the tournament. The Departmental experts were also present on the opening of the competitions.
The main objective of the competitions is to select the teams/players for the next level of competitions.
