JAMMU, Sept 25: An inter-school virtual poem recitation competition was organised by RM Public School on the topic ‘Rashtra Bhasha Hindi’ under the aegis of Sahodaya School Complex, here today.
Around 32 reputed schools of Jammu region participated with great zeal and enthusiasm wherein Professor Balwan Singh, Head of Hindi Department GDC Nagrota and Hindi Lecturer, Anil Sharma of GHSS Nagrota were the chief guest on the occasion, whereas Pramod Shrivastava an eminent educationist and Sahodaya president was the special guest.
G.D Goenka (Shriyansh Tripathi of GD Goenka secured 1st position, whereas Ashvi Rani of Tiny Scholars Kathua and Amanya Choudhary of Mount Litera Senior Secondary School Samba shared 2nd position and Vipra of APS Kaluchak and Sehaj Seert Kour of Jodhamal Public School shared 3rd position, besides Samarth Pathak of Shri Ram Universal School and Aradhya Gupta of Shemford jointly stood 4th and Nandani Singh Oberh of Presentation Convent remained 5th.
The competition was judged by the chief guests of the event, while the welcome speech was presented by Vandana Salathia and compared by Deepa Kumari. The whole programme was organized under the supervision of Gurpreet Kaur, In-charge of Lakshya building.
