BUDGAM, Aug 11: Inter School District Level Martial Arts competitions concluded at Sports Stadium, here today.
About 950 students from different schools of District Budgam participated in the competition which was conducted in six Martial Art disciplines namely, Judo, Sqay, Wushu, Taekwondo, Kick Boxing and Jeet Kune do .
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Budgam, Balbir Singh was the cheif guest on the occasion.
International Islamic School Peer Bagh emerged overall champion by winning 23 gold while Life School, Chari Sharif finished 2nd by winning 13 gold and HSS Soiebough finished third by winning 10 gold in overall medal tally.
The selected players wil have to represent District Budgam in the upcoming Inter District Martial Art competitions scheduled to be held at Sports Stadium, Chari Sharif from August 29 to September 3, 2018
The Championship was organised by the District Youth Services and Sports Office Budgam.
