KATHUA, Dec 3: Inter-school fancy dress competition was organised by Minerva Public School on the topic ‘Cherish Your Nature’, here today.
The event was organised with an aim to provide a common platform to young voices and an effort to build culture and trust and mutual respect among all the eminent schools of Jammu Sahodaya.
Suresh Kumar Chib, Addl. SP Kathua was the chief guest, while Kewal Krishan (DEPO, Kathua) was the guest of honour and Satish Raina (Inspector) was the special guest on the occasion.
Dr Rimani Verma, Professor of English, Santosh Sharma (Headmistress) and Harjinder Singh were the jury members of the competition.
Mahipaul Sharma, Chairman of the host School and Sheetal Sharma secretary of Minerva Educational Trust and Ruhy Sharma Principal were also present during the event.
The first position was bagged by Saksham Bandral from Kartar Public School Barnoti, while 2nd position was secured by Kanya Sharma from Sai International School and 3rd position was clinched by Ojasvi from APS Kaluchak.
The chief guest lauded the efforts of the schools under the flagship of Jammu Sahodaya for providing a stage to students to showcase their talent.
