Inter-School competitions held at Jammu, Dansal, Jourian, Khour Zones

JAMMU, Aug 21: The Zonal Level Inter-School competitions in the disciplines Kabaddi, Volleyball and Kho-Kho were held in Jammu and Dansal Zone at GHSS Bakshi Nagar and in Jourian and Khour Zones at GHS Jourian, here.
The Tournaments are being held under the Chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports, Jammu and Sukhdev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu.
At GHSS Bakshi Nagar, the Tournament of Jammu and Dansal Zones was inaugurated by Principal of the School, Sashi Thappa in presence of Zonal Physical Education Officer Jammu Zone, Saroman Dogra, while at GHS Jourian the Tournament in boys section concluded with Headmaster of the School, SL Shastri as the chief guest on the valedictory ceremony.  The Tournament was held under the supervision of Veer Ji Bhat, ZPEO Jourian and Ramesh Choudhary, ZPEO Khour.
At GHSS Bakshi Nagar, in Volleyball Under-19 boys final, BSF Paloura defeated GHSS Kathar Manwal by (2-0) sets, WHILE IN Kabaddi under-19 boys, BSF Paloura lost to Hari Singh HSS by 12 points and in Kabaddi Under-19 girls, GHSS Mubarak Mandi  beat HSS Bazar Qasaba by 10 points, HSS Nowabad got better of HSS Canal Road by 6 points and HSS Mubarak Mandi drubbed HSS Nawabad by 7 points.
The matches were officiated by Jaswinder Kour, Tilak Raj, Rajani Billowria, Mohd Farooq, Sunita Sharma and Mousmi.
At Jourian, in Volleyball final, Pallanwalla defeated HSS Jourian by (2-0) sets, while in Kabaddi final, HSS Jourian defeatred HSS Pallanwalla by 17 points and in Cricket, HSS Jourian drubbed Jagrati Shiksha Kendra HSS Khour by 9 wickets.
Ther matches were officiated by Ashok Kumar, Uma Kant, Sham Krishan Singh, Ramesh Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Devinder Singh, Darshan Lal and Vijay Kumar.
