JAMMU, Feb 11: Department of Youth Services and Sports today organised Inter-Panchayat block level tournament of block RS Pura and Suchetgarh under Khelo India for boys and girls under 20 years age group.
The tournament was organised in disciplines of Kabaddi, Tug of War, Carrom and Chess under the chairmanship of Sukhdev Raj (DYSSO) and overall supervision of ZEPO Chander Kanta.
Chairman of Block Development Council, RS Pura, Tarsaim Kumar and Chairman Block Development Council Suchetgarh were the chief guest and distributed prize among the winner students.
In Kabaddi, Chakrohi lower declared winner by 26-14 points against Sattowali in boys category of Suchetgarh block, in girls category Sattowali panchayat won from Rangpur Maulana by 25 points. While in girls categories of Block RS Pura, Panchayat Gondla won the match from Chak by 12 points.
In Tug of War (Boys) Chakrohi Upper beated Sai Kalan of Suchetgarh block and Chak defeated Gondla Panchayat of RS Pura Block.
