JAMMU, Aug 20: Inter House Sports Activities like swimming competition, Table Tennis match and Judo bouts were conducted today GD Goenka School.
Jehan Sahni of Vivekananda House brought glory to his House by outshining other swimmers. He was followed by Satyam Mehra of Teresa, Hriday Mahajan of Radhakrishnan and Harshal Kachroo of Tagore.
In the Table-Tennis Singles’ category (Girls), it was Varnika, Nandika and Tanvi of Tagore House that clinched the first position. They were closely followed by Radhakrishnan House for the second position. In the Doubles’ match (Girls), it was the partnership of Mehak and Vidushi of Vivekananda House that bagged the first position followed by Teresa House.
In the Singles’ match (Boys), it was Bhuvan, Aryan, Sujal and Pranay of Teresa House who brought recognition to their House with their impeccable moves. Radhakrishnan House was close at the second position.
In the Judo bouts, it was the mental, physical and psychological strength of the Vivekananda Judokas who beat against all odds to emerge the undisputed winner of the Judo Tournament followed by Radhakrishnan, Tagore and Teresa House.
All the events were conducted under the strict yet fair and just jurisdiction of Sandeep Jaiswal (HOD Sports).
