POONCH, Oct 10: Inter Division Volleyball Tournament for all age group girls, being organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports commenced at Government Degree College, here today.
In under-19 inaugural match, Jammu beat Kashmir by 2-0 sets, whereas in under-17 category, Jammu lost to Kashmir by 2-1 sets.
Earlier, DDC Poonch Tariq Ahmed Zargar, who was the chief guest declared the tournament open along with SSP Poonch Rajeev Pandey and Joint Director Education Poonch Ved Prakash in presence of DYSSO Ayaz Khan, Krishan Lal Retd SO, Narjeet Singh, Mohammad Qasim and Tej Kour, all ZPEOs, Pawan Kumar, PEL, Nirdosh Kumar, Sarla Bakshi, Veena Sharma, Gurwinder Singh, Damanpreet Singh and Ramesh Kumar.
The matches were officiated by Narinder Singh, Tariq Khan, Neeraj Kumar, Davinder Singh, Aklaq and Rameez Khan.
