JAMMU, Oct 13: The Inter Collegiate Tennis (M&W) Tournament commended at Sports Stadium, Jammu University.
The tournament was inaugurated by Prof Dhian Singh Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu in presence of Dr Vikas Karloopia, Dr Brij Baloria, Gagan Kumar and students of Varsity.
GGM Science College beat GDC Kathua by 2-1. In Single, Chetan Sharma lost to Ankit Mahajan by 6-2 and 6-4 and Akhil Jamwal defeated Rohit Kumar by 6-0 and 6-2. In Doubles, Zahoor and Chetan beat Rishab and Ankit by 6-4 and 6-3.
Meanwhile, SPMR College of Commerce got walkover from MAM College.
The matches were officiated by Ravish Vaid, Gourav Sharma and Pushap Thakur.
