KATHUA, Oct 19: District Level Inter Block Tournament under under ‘Khelo India’ initiative in the disciplines of Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Football, Wrestling and Athletics concluded here today.
The tournament for both boys and girls was held under the age groups of 17, 19 and above 19 years.
The tournament was held under the Chairmanship of Om Prakash Bhagat, District Development Commissioner Kathua and under the supervision of Sunil Kumar DYSSO Kathua and Shobha Biloria Nodal Officer Khelo India.
The venues of the events were Sports Stadium Kathua, Police Line Kathua, Boys HSS Kathua and Women College Kathua
A total of 1038 participants took part in the vent, with 628 boys and 410 girls.
In Volleyball Under-17 girls final, Barnoti defeated Mallahar, while in Kabaddi final,
Kathua drubbed Hiranager and in Kho-Kho final, Kathua defeated Hiranagar.
