RAMBAN, May 14: Huge number of spectators enjoyed to witness the matches of Dangal at Ramsoo, organized by Indian Army in collaboration with Dangal Committee of Ramsoo, here.
To encourage sports amongst local youths, Army organised Dangal in which more than 100 wrestlers from various States participated with full vigour and enthusiasm.
Many officials from Civil Administration and Army were present during the event.
People in thousands witnessed the event.
Highlight of the event was the bout between Nisaar Pehalwan and Akram Pehalwan.
The aim of the event was to promote the sense of physical fitness, encourage the competitive spirit and lure the local people towards this traditional.
The winners of various bouts were presented attractive cash prizes and trophies.
The event was coordinated by Indian Army under Perception Management.
Each bout was highly competitive and witnessed nail biting finish.
The Dangal committee Ramsoo expressed deep gratitude and applauded the efforts of Indian Army in providing full support and assistance in organizing such a mega event.
