Income Tax will take on Indian Overseas Bank in the finals of the 52nd All India Basketball tournament for Men, while Chhattisgarh State and South Central Railway will engage in the title clash for the 16th CRI Pumps Trophy for women, tomorrow.
In the semi-finals played here today, Income Tax defeated Indian Railways by 77-65.
R Bidani scored 15 points and Vishu 13 for Taxmen, while Praveen Kumar performed well for the losers with 24 points.
In the match for the second finalists, Indian Overseas Bank defeated Indian Air Force by 82-63.
In the women’s semifinals, Chhattisgarh State defeated Eastern Railway by 69-60.
Gulabshah Ali top scored with 24 for the winners and Geethamani 13 for Railways.
In the second semi-finals, South Central Railway defeated KSEB by 52-28.
Aswathi Thampi scored 17 pointed for Railway, while Rojamol 10 for losing semi-finalists. (PTI)
