JAMMU, Aug 8: The induction program for BBA & BCA courses was inaugurated by the chief guest, Er Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Trustee of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI) at Conference Hall of the Institute which was attended by Th. Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice-Chairman and Er. Renu Bangroo, Managing Director (JGEI).
Prof JR Dhotra, Director, IMS, while welcoming the students and their parents highlighted the academic achievements of Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) right from 1993 to date. He emphasized that IMS offers conducive learning environment which allows students to develop their creativity, work ethics and leadership skills that are essential for their future success.
Prof. Shiv Kumar Gupta, in his address, spoke at length about the relevance of pursuing the undergraduate courses in Business Administration and Computer Applications which are very much sought after in the corporate sector.
He further gave details of the organizational structure of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions and various institutions being run under its aegis.
Er. Renu Bangroo, Managing Director (JGEI) presented welcome address.
Later-on, Er. Vidhi spoke on length on being the pioneer for establishment of management and Computer Institutes in the State of Jammu & Kashmir imparting education in MBA, BBA, MCA and BCA courses.
