JAMMU, May 7: Defeating their rivals convincingly in the semifinals, Iknoor and Ragini sealed berth in the finals of the ongoing Jammu Open Table Tennis Championship, being organized by City Police and will take on each other in the summit clash, here.
Vishal Sharma, SHO City Police Station and his team witnessed all the matches and cheered for the participants for better show.
Earlier, in the girls Under-17 semifinals, Iknoor defeated Mishti by 3-0, while Ragini trounced Snigdha by 3-1.
In Girls Under-17 quarterfinals, Iknoor beat Vidhushi by 2-0, Mishti drubbed Marvee by 2-0, Snigdha outplayed Divyanshin by 2-1 and Ragini trounced Mahika by 2-1.
In Cadet Boys Under-12 semifinals, Sourav beat Rohan by 3-2, Madhav got the better of Tejas by 3-1, while in Cadet Boys Under-12 quarterfinals, Rohan defeated Vashisht by 2-1, Sourav beat Rakshan by 2-0, Madhav drubbed Vivek 2-1 and Tejas outclassed Arya 2-1.
In Sub Jr Boys Under-14 quarterfinals, Saksham trounced Manik by 3-0, Rohan defeated Tejas by 3-1, Manya trounced Vishav by 3-0 and Sourav outclassed Madhav by 3-0.
Junior Boys Under-17 matches were underway till the last reports came in.
The matches were officiated by Meenu Rajesh, Hanumant Sharma, Anuj Gupta, Ritvik Gupta, Vasu Dewan and Asad Sharma.
