IIM students shine in Int’l Bloomberg Olympiad

JAMMU, Mar 17: The team of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu secured the 1st runner-up trophy at the prestigious “International Bloomberg Olympiad 2022”.
This was the seventh annual edition of this competition, jointly hosted by Bloomberg and the TAPMI Institute. A total of 91 teams from India and abroad, including the teams from the top IIMs were registered for the competition.
The winning team consisted of Apoorva Gautam, Bhavya Mishra and Deepshikha Dabas of MBA Batch 2020-22. They were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 50000.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Manoj Kumar, chairperson MBA, IIM Jammu said, “It’s a matter of great pride for all of us at IIM Jammu to have secured the first runner-up position at Tapmi International Bloomberg Olympiad. I would take this opportunity especially to congratulate these budding managers of tomorrow for this incredible feat and I am sure this is just the beginning and there is more to follow.”
The 7th edition was conducted in three knockout rounds.
