JAMMU, Oct 19: International Daily Rising School organized two-day Erudite Young Minds Conclave (IDRS-MUN) event today.
MUN focuses on enhancing the students’ experience by providing a platform to improve their critical thinking, public speaking, group communication, and research & policy analysis.
The entire delegation of different committees like, Citizen Dialogue- Deliberating On Policies Controlling Pollution, Political Forum On Discrimination Issues- Discussing upon Policies And Actions To Curb Discrimination In India, International Press (Photographers, Journalists, Caricaturists), Marvel Committee, UNEA- Deliberating upon climate change and global water crisis exhibited eloquent oratory skills.
The entire delegation displayed high order thinking skills with special emphasis on critical thinking and problem solving potentials. Top most schools of Jammu participated in the event and managed to showcase a remarkable performance.
Chander Mohan, Mayor JMC was the chief guest on the occasion, while Purnima Deputy Mayor, JMC was the guest of honou. Roma Bagotra, owner of D mark tutorial, Pawan Kumar CEO, School Pulse Newspaper Harsha, MUN Co-ordinator of Jammu Sanskriti school, Jammu were the special guest.
The event was held with lots of zeal and zest. It was commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by the welcome of the guests by the Academic Director of IDRS , Dr Atul Hans.
The chief guest, guests of honour and special guests were felicitated by the Chairperson of IDRS, Supinder Kour, Raghav Gupta, MD IDRS and Academic Director, Dr Atul Hans.
