SRINAGAR, Oct 13: Based on the preliminary enquiry conducted by Joint Secretary, J&K Sports Council, Incharge Indoor Sports Council, Jammu Ashok Singh has been put under suspension by the Secretary Sports Council Dilip Thusoo.
The suspension of the officer has been effected on the alleged illegal practices resorted to by some Badminton players in the Indoor Sports complex of Jammu.
Minister for Youth Services and Sports, R.S. Chib in his capacity as Vice President, J&K Sports Council has instituted a high level enquiry into the incidence by Director Youth Services and Sports, J P Singh. Singh has been asked to submit his report within week’s time.
