JAMMU, Apr 11: Indian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (IBBFF) Mr and Miss J&K Championship was held under the guidance of Dr Sanjay More General Secretary IBBFF/AFBF, here today.
In a grand event, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Body Building Association, a total of 210 competitors from J&K participated.
In the championship, Dhananjay Singh Charak clinched Senior Mr J&K Champion’s title, whereas Junior Mr J&K title was won by Jatin Pal Singh. Mr Classque award was bagged by Jatinpal Singh, whereas Vikram Khajuria wins Men’s Physique title and 1st Miss Fitness J&K title was clinched by Shaheen Kanwal Bagee.
Actor and Mr Asia Sidhant More and JKSABBA chief Patron Sahil Agarwal and cluster of dignitaries who attended the championship included former Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta, Health Minister Dr DK Manyal, Mayor JMC Chander Mohan Gupta, Advocate Sunil Sethi, Rajiv Charak, Dy Mayor JMC Advocate Purnima Sharma, JMC Secretary Tina Mahajan, Ishant Gupta, Choudhary Lal Singh, Director Tourism OP Bhagat, Ranjeet Kalra Member BCCI and Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra UT Secretary BJP.
Speaking on the occasion, former Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta said that sports and games like body building helps in keeping youth away from the menace of drugs and violence. He congratulated the association for the successful conduct of the event and also congratulated the winners.
