JAMMU, Nov 14: I-Tech Cricket Club defeated Media XI by 5 wickets in an easy contest of the ongoing All India T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Bhalessa Cricket Club, under the supervision of Asrar-Ul-Haq and Kulbir Manhas at MA Stadium, here.
Earlier, batting first, Media Xi scored a paltry total of 96 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 8 wickets in the process. Jagdeep was the top scorer with 23 runs, while Sunil Thappa and Sarabjeet Singh contributed 18 and 10 runs to the total respectively. For I-Tech Club, Vinod was the pick of the bowlers, who took 4 wickets, while Manav Gupta took 2 and Romy claimed one.
In reply, I-Tech Club scored 97 runs in 16.1 overs by losing 5 wickets, thus lostthe match by 5 wickets. Romy top scored with 25 runs, while Ankush and Kaka contributed 19 and 12 runs to the total respectively. For Media XI, Neeraj Choudhary and Rohit Salaria took 2 wickets each, while Amit Sudan claimed one wicket. Vinod was adjudged man of the match.
The match was officiated by Sachin Singh and Arun as umpires, while Virender was the scorer.
