JAMMU, Nov 14: Deshmesh Club Nanak Nagar and Khalsa Club Gole Gujral registered wins on day-2 of the ongoing Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament, being organized by Kashmir Singh Sangat, under the aegis of Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here today.
In the first match, Deshmesh Club defeated Zorawar Club Satwari by four goals to two (4-2), while in the second match Khalsa Club defeated Singh Club Banda Rakh by four goals to one (4-1).
The matches were officiated by Daljeet Singh Bhatia, Charanjit Singh, Manjeet Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Abhishek Kumar, Jagjit Singh, Joginder Singh, Jasp[reet Singh and Tournament Director, GS Bakshi.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sewa Singh, president Kashjmir Singh Sangat and Karamjit Singh, general secretary.
