Srinagar, Feb 23: Real Kashmir Football Club would be looking to break its slumber against Indian Arrows in an I-League match, here tomorrow.
After losing two straight matches, Real Kashmir FC would be looking forward to get three points against the foreigner-less Indian Arrows. A win against Arrows would put Real Kashmir back in the top four in the table.
Real Kashmir will play seventh match in Srinagar after playing six games consecutive, travelling all over the country.
Head coach of Indian Arrows Shanmugham Venkatesh said that his players are excited to play against Real Kashmir Football Club.
“Tomorrow, we will focus on our game and play good football to win points. It is a challenging game for us. Yes we lost against Real Kashmir but the boys have a very positive mindset. The football culture is very good in Kashmir. The players are very excited to play against Real Kashmir and we are looking forward for tomorrow’s game,” Mr Venkatesh told reporters during a Press Conference.
Answering a question about the team’s loss against Real Kashmir early, he said every game is different. “We lost a game against Real FC, but the condition here is different-the weather is different. We played against Bengal on Synthetic turf so I don’t think we will face any problem. The climate is exactly what is required for Football,” he added.
Real Kashmir FC coach Dave Robertson said that his team is excited about the match tomorrow on the home ground.
“We have had couple of disappointments, but we are focused on this game and expect to win,” Mr Robertson told reporters during a Press Conference.
