HSS Rabta, BSF Paloura, APS Sunjwan emerge overall Champions

JAMMU, Sept 22: Inter School District Level Athletic Meet for girls under the age group of 14, 17 and 19 concluded at BSF Paloura, here today.
In all, 778 students from Private and Govt. Institutions of District Jammu are taking part in the competitions.
Later on, Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu, distributed the prizes among the winners in a simple and well attended function.
The Meet was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu under the patronage of Sheikh Fayaz Ahmed, Director Youth Services & Sports, and under the Chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports, Jammu. Chanchal Kour was the organizing secretary of the competitions.
The main objective of these competitions is to select the teams in these disciplines for the upcoming competitions.
In Long Jump Under-14 Girls, Rinkey Tomar of APS Sunjwan won gold, while in Under-17 girls, Versha Devi of HS Burai bagged gold and in Long Jump Under-19 Girls, Pallavi Devi of HSS Karah clinched gold.
In Shot Put Under-14 Girls, Taniya Kumari of HS Simbal clinched gold, while in Shot Put Under-17 Girls, Lavanya Mahajan won gold and in Shot Put Under-19 Girls, Divya Thakur of BSF Paloura clinched gold.
In 200 mts Under-14 Girls, Chitar Lekha of APS Jammu Cantt claimd gold, while in 200 mtrs Under-17 Girls, Neetu Devi of GHS Pangari bagged gold and in 200 mts Under-19 Girls, Kashish Garu of GHSS M. Mandi won gold.
In 400 mtrs Under-14 Girls, Versha of GHS Sangrampur clinched gold, while in   400 mts Under-17 Girls, Razia Begum of GHSS Sangrampur claimed gold.
In 600 mtrs Under-14 Girls, Divya Rajput of MHAC Nagbani won gold, while in 4×400 mtrs Under-19 Girls, Rakhi, Sheetal, Sonia and Harpreet of GHSS Muthi won gold.
In 1500 mtrs Under-17 Girls, Kajal Devi of HSS Kathar bagged gold, while in 1500 mtrs Under-19 Girls, Bhawani Devi of GHSS Rabta clinched gold.
